How to recover data when USB device cannot be recognized?

We usually use U disk, mobile HD, memory card to  store data for its compact but large storage capacity. However, in the process of using these devices, many users have encountered many problems .Sometimes, when you connect the device to the computer, it will pop up a prompt that  "Unrecognized USB Device". So  users can not use their own USB devices. Many users feel very puzzled about this situation but do not to know how to solve this problem and at the same time to protect their data. Today I would like to talk about this case, and to find out the solutions after the USB device can not be recognized.

There are many reasons for unrecognized USB device. Next I will show you some common causes.
1.      USB device is damaged.
You can judge by inset it into another computer. If it can be recognized, you can be sure that it is the USB itself. You can only replace it.
2.      Interface failure.
If the USB can be recognized on other computer, it is the USB interface failure. The interface failure can be various like , you have mixed the positive and negative line of USB, low-voltage of pre-interface. You can insert it into the rear interface.
3.      Driver problems.
If you have exclude the above two problems, that may be the drive problems. You can use a upgrading software to update driver.
4.      System or bios problem
If you have banned USB in BIOS or system, the USB device will not be recognized.
The solution is to active options related to USB device. After boot, press F2 or DEL key to enter BIOS, choose to enable USB device.

5.      The abnormal power-off of USB device
Another cause is that the USB device may have a sudden power-off. You can choose device manager on your computer, and then click Universal Serial Bus Controllers to delete all the options related to USB. Plug out USB device and inset it again, reinstall the drive.

The above five are the most common causes. Generally, we just need to modify device and upgrade driver to solve the problem. But the disabled recognition caused by hardware can not be restore by yourself. You can ask the Hdata recovery center to help solve this problem.
