Sometimes when you
switch on your mobile phone, you will found a notification that SD card is
blank or has unsupported file system. If you have tried several times and the
problem still exist, you should find out the causes and try to fix it.
There
are many causes for this problem
1. Remove the SD card
by force. If you directly pulled out the SD card without turning off your
mobile phone, or you do not safely plug out the mobile phone from computer,
your SD card may be blank by the next time.
2. Virus infection. If
you had connected your computer to a virus infected computer, the SD card will
also be infected.
When you boot your
phone, the system prompts that your SD card is blank. It implies that your SD
card cannot be read or the file system cannot be recognized.
How
to fix the SD card?
First, you need to
safely remove the SD card from your computer. Insert the SD card into a card
reader, and connect it to computer.
1. Use chkdsk to fix it
Connect the card reader
to computer to see if it can be recognized by computer.
Click start menu and
input cmd. Click cmd.exe and run as administrator.
Input chkdsk f:/ to fix
the errors. F is the drive letter of your SD card.
After check the errors,
you can insert the SD card to your phone to see if it works well now.
2. Check the hidden
files
Input File options in
the search box and open this window.
Click the View tab in
the window. In the part of Advanced views, find the option that Show hidden
files, folders and drives, then click apply.
3. Recover the data on
SD card and then format it.
If your SD card can be
detected by computer, you can use a recovery tool to try to restore the lost
files on the SD card and then format it.
First, launch Hdata
recovery software, you will see six mode on the software interface.
Second, connect the
card reader to the computer
Third, click the button
of Deleted your files from flash disk.
Fourth, scan the SD
card and preview the scanning result.
Fifth, select a
recovery path to keep the recovered files. You should not save them on this SD
card, you can save it on other computer partitions.
