Occasionally, there is
a message pop up to ask you to upgrade to Windows upgrade. It is automatic or
even forced to upgrade. Most of the time, we cannot realize what happened until
we found some of files have lost. Now you have know that upgrade Windows will
delete some of your files. So you should keep in mind to back up your data
before you are planning to upgrade windows. AS the C drive is the system drive,
if you upgrade the windows system, or will reposition the drive C.
Therefore,
the files on drive C will be deleted. The correct way is to back up the entire
drive C before upgrade Windows. Many people will place all their edit files
such as work files, thesis on the desktop and do not copy it to other drives,
while the desktop files are all kept in the C drive. If you upgrade the
windows, all the files on desktop will also be missing. But the question is:
Can we still recover deleted

First, you can try to
find the lost files in your computer. Check if your files are in the following
paths :
C:\Windows\Users\Documents;
C:\Windows\Users\Desktop. If you cannot find your lost files, you have to use

can see the results. It lists all the files and file folders scanned. Preview
the files and then check the files you lost to recover. Click Next.
Then you are required
to choose a recovery path. It gives you message that your chose partition
should not contains some files that have not been recovered. So you should not
choose the partition C as you have to recover lost files on partition C. It
displays the file numbers and the total size of your files that need to be
recovered.
After you have
successfully recover your files, find them in the recovery path you choose, now
you can restore them to the partition C.
As all of you have
known that ungrade Windows will deleted your files, you have to back up your
files regularly in case there is an accidental upgrade. And don’t forget to
back up your files on your desktop.
