How to restore and transfer photos to iPhone?

iPhone stores lots of our cherished photos, the lost of photos cause a great trouble for us. Once photos disappear from Photos on iPhone, how can we do to retrieve them back? And how can we transfer photos between different devices.

Where did your deleted photos go?

Recently Deleted album

There are several different albums in your Photos App, such as Camera Roll, My Photos Stream, Videos, Recently Deleted and album for other apps. If you tap on the Recently Deleted album, you will find your deleted photos here. Therefore, all your recently deleted photos are sent to this album and store here permanently so that you still have chance to restore them. You can get them back if you accidentally deleted them from the photos albums. The photos will not been erased within 30 days after you delete them. As long as you restore photos in time, you can easily retrieve your deleted photos.

Tap on Recently Deleted album, it will list all your recently deleted photos and videos. You can preview them and see the time that you delete them.

Tap on Select and then tap on the photos and videos that you want to restore and tap on Recover. Then all your selected items have been restored to their original albums.

If you have deleted your photos from the recently deleted album or they have been deleted for more than 30 days, the photos have been removed. But that does not means that these deleted photos have been erased from your device. As long as you have not write too many new data to iPhone after data loss, the data will not been overwritten. You can use data recovery software to retrieve them from device.

How to restore photos from iPhone with data recovery software?

Install and run H Data iPhone recovery software on computer, then connect iPhone with computer via USB cable.

Choose to scan from iPhone and click to scan iPhone.

After scan, you can find all the contents on your iPhone, including the existing data and your deleted data.

Click Photos to find the photos you need to restore, tick them and click to export them to your computer.

After that the deleted photos have been restored and extracted to your computer. You can check them in the recovery folder. And then transfer them to your iPhone via iTunes and iCloud account.
