Locking the SD card
with password is a good way to prevent the unwanted access to our SD card,
accident deletion or format. It greatly reduced the chance of data loss. But
most of people like me , is easy to forget the password. Once you forgot your
password, you cannot access to the files on this SD card. Are there still have
ways to remove the password?
Generally, there are four ways for you to remove the memory card
password.
The
first way, you need to use the Notepad.
1. Insert your SD card
into your Android phone, go to the file manager, tap—Settings>System
Folders, and locate the file called mncstore. Send this file to your Notepad
and open it in Notepad. The password is in this file.
2. Run Fexplorer on
your Android phone.
Open the C:\system,
find the file mmcstore, and rename it as mncstore.txt on the computer, and open
it in Notepad.
The
second way, remove password on computer
You should remove the
SD card from your device, and then insert it in a card reader. Connect the card
reader to computer. Right-click the SD card on computer to select the remove
option from the menu. Then you have recovered the password.
The
third way, Format the SD card with Nokia E series
If you have a Nokis E
series, you can insert the SD card into the phone and perform a format. But
format will remove your data on SD card, if you have important data on this SD
card, you should not directly format it.
The
fourth way, Download an explorer to scan the files on your mobile phone
Open the explorer and
enter zero[0], search for the file “mncstore”. Then you will see a code, delete
this code to unlock or reset the SD card.
If you lost files from
SD card, no matter how you lost your files, you should use a third-party recovery
tool to retrieve them as soon as possible. Hdata recovery can retrieve files
