U disk data recovery and causes for U disk data loss

U disk is an effective portable storage device for us. But it is easily to have failures. We may be able to restore some small problems, but once serious data loss happen, we usually feel overwhelmed. In order to avoid a big loss, what should we do? And what are the causes for U disk data loss?
The main causes can be the following:
1.      The U disk is forced to be pulled out when it is in reading or writing. It results in the interruption of reading, then the data loss my occur.
2.      The files are mistakenly deleted. There is no recycle bin in U disk so you cannot restore them in U disk.
3.      U disk has bad sectors or bad tracks and your deleted files are there.
4.      The insufficient supply power of U disk interface result in errors in reading. It means that the U disk write error information to the corresponding area which lost files, then result in error data.
5.      The poor performance of U disk chip result in the failure of memory effect. Normal U disks produced by big manufactures will not have this problem unless the U disk has been used for a long time. The poor quality U disk may easy to have this trouble and it’s difficult to restore. Therefore, you need to keep your eyes open when in choosing.
6. U disk mistakenly formatted by manual that lead to data loss.
7. U disk become unresponsive when the computer has a sudden shut down for power off or some other unforeseen circumstances.
8. The U disk get a virus. The virus destroyed the data system of U disk and result in data loss.
These are the most common causes for U disk data loss. You should pay attention to these cases to avoid possible data loss.
Generally speaking, the data loss of U disk have the following  cases:
1.      Lost only one file, several files or all the data on U disk.
2.      It prompts that your U disk has not be formatted when your insert it into computer, and it requires you to format it.
3.       U disk cannot be recognized. You cannot find any drive letter. And you cannot find it even you enter BIOS.
In general, if you have some simple data loss, you can use a data recovery software to recover them. But if you have hardware problems like interface failure or chip failure, you should not depend on a data recovery software. You’d better ask the professional data recovery engineer to help you get your data back.
