Hard drive failure is
annoying and frustrating for computer users. The computer problems are various
and complex. We cannot always aware the little problems. When the computer

First, you need to

Second, listen to the

Third, check if the

enter the BIOS. If the drive cannot be recognized by computer, you may need to
replace the SATA cable or enable the BIOS setting of this drive.
As long as the hard
drive has not really dead, you can recover the data. If your computer cannot
boot up by itself, you can try to boot from your created boot disk.

After booting the
computer, you can enter into BIOS settings, then change the setup to choose
your boot device. After you have successfully boot from the disc, you can
choose the option of Recovery console. Open the command prompt window, you can
type chkdsk /r to check and repair the errors on hard drive. Reboot computer
and after that you are able to access to windows. And you can also remove your
hard drive from the computer and then connect it with another healthy computer
used as a second drive. It will display as an external hard drive in the new
computer. In this way, you do can access to the hard drive on the new computer
so that you can transfer the data between the failed hard drive and the new
computer easily.
If you suspect your
hard drive is dying, you should back up your data immediately and try to fix
it. After the hard drive fails but it has not dead, you need to get off the
