Open folder options, click View tab. In the advanced settings, you should check the option of Show hidden files, folders and drives and uncheck the option of Hide protected operating system files.
Then go to C:\Users\your corrupted username. Select all the files but not the Ntuser.dat, Ntuser.dat.log and Ntuser.ini. Paste these files into C:Users\New Username.
Log out and then sign into your new account. Then check if your can click the start button or not. If it works well, you can delete the corrupted files and account.
