How to back up and restore iPhone contacts?

The contacts on iPhone is necessary for us to contact with others in time. How to backup contacts on iPhone?

1. Back up contacts to apps like Wechat

Some chat apps like WeChat, can back up all your contacts to WeChat cloud.

2. Back up contacts to iCloud

3. Back up contacts to iTunes

iTunes does not provide you a way to separately back up the contacts, you can only back up the entire iPhone to iTunes. But you cannot selectively restore your contacts from the backup, you also can only restore the entire backup to iPhone.
