How to find iTunes
backup?
To remove your iTunes backup from hard
drive, you should locate it on your computer.
Go to system drive, click
Users>Administrator>AppData>Roaming>Apple Computer
>MobileSync>backup, you will find
the iTunes backup folder, open it you will find many files in it. But you
cannot directly read them. If you have emptied the iTunes backup on computer,
you will find it is empty.
Location iTunes backup in iTunes: open
iTunes, click Edit>Preferences, click Devices tab, select the device backup
and right-click to find its location.
How to remove the iTunes backup to an
external hard drive?
Connect your external hard drive with
computer and make sure it has been detected by computer.
Go to the folder that save your iTunes
backup and drag or copy it to your external hard drive. Then check it in your
external hard drive.
With backup on external hard drive, you do
not need to worry about data loss. Even if you lost the backup on computer’s
hard drive.
With iTunes backup, you can choose to
restore from backup in iTunes, or use the data recovery software to extract the
data you need from backup. If you do not lost all data on iPhone, you should not
restore the entire backup to iPhone.

After scan, you can preview all the
contents that you have backed up.
Tick the contents that you want to recover
and choose a location to store them.
