SD cards are widely used as a storage
medium in mobile phone and camera. Its compact body and high-capacity have
brought us a lot of convenience. However, the card does not actually solid as
we imagined. SD card is easy to be damaged for a little errors such as
inappropriate operation or plug method. Although replacing a card is quite easy
as the price is low, the data loss in the SD card may be serious.
How can we
repair the SD card and how can we recover data ?
The reasons for SD card failure are as
follows:
1. SD
card prompts it has not been formatted, and the files or directory are damaged.
2. SD
card have lost some or all data. You cannot open the videos, photos.
3. SD card has
a physical bad block, it cannot been recognized.
4. After
connecting it to computer, it cannot be recognized but the card reader can be
recognized.
5. SD
card is destroyed by virus. All files are messy code after opening them.
6. Human misoperation such as accident deletion,
format, causing the data loss.
How can we repair it?
First of all, we
do not need to direct format it. We can do it by ourselves.
1. Turn
your phone off. If it has no response, you can directly put the cell out to
shutdown.
2. Press
power button and volume key together to boot it, get into recovery.
3. Connect phone to computer, find the USB
option.
4. Then
the computer can read the SD card.
5. Enter
“my computer” or “computer”, find the drive letter of SD card, such as G disk.
Remember this letter.
6. Click
open menu, choose open—run, input chkdsk G:/f
7. The
screen will pos up a restoration interface automatically. You just need to wait
the restoration finish.
8. Press
the light sensation key on phone enter
into recovery, choose to reboot your phone.
9. If
everything goes well, you can get all your data back.
If you cannot
recover your data by this way, you’d better ask data recovery engineers to help
you. You cannot repair your SD card by yourself in that case.
