Computer virus hard to
prevent. It will delete our files, modify data, destroy the software system and
even cause hardware failure or corruption. Once the computer got a virus, we
are easy to lost data.
There are two ways to
recover your files deleted by virus
1. Use CMD
command
If the flash drive is not
formatted, the shortcut files must have been stored in the hardware in hidden
mode. You can recover them using CMD by following these steps:
1. Click “start”, type ”cmd” in the search box.
2. click and open cmd.exe
3. Type attrib -h -r -s /s /d j:\*.* and press
enter.(note: j is the flash drive)Or else, type j: and press ‘Enter’.
(You will enter in to your flash drive. Now type the following attrib -h
-r -s /s /d *.*
4. Then open your flash drive. You may find the
shortcuts separated from the original data. Copy your data and save it to
another location in your hard drive or desktop.
If you still cannot find
the data you want, you can try to use data recovery software
2. Recover
deleted files by Hdata recovery software
1. Open
Hdata recovery software, you will see six modules on the interface. Choose the
“universal recovery.
2. Then it
enters into scanning. If you find the files you need in scanning process, you
can interrupt the scanning.
3. As
scanning ends, you can preview the scanning result so that to choose the data
you need to save your recovery time.
4. Choose a
save path. Do not save it on the location you have lost data.
5. Click
next and then the data recovery end. You can find your data in your choosing
path.
Although you may recover
data from these methods, backup is still important. Once data loss happen, the
easiest way is to recover them from backup and you will never lost any data. As
the complexity of data loss causes, any data recover software cannot make sure
you can get all your data back.
How to Avoid Computer
Virus Infection Issues in the Future?
Even though data recovery
tools really helps a lot in recovering data after virus attack, the final data
recovery results are also able to be really questionable. Therefore, in
addition to backup regularly, you still need to notice:
1). Use Strong Antivirus
Software
As one of the most
effective antivirus solutions, the strong antivirus software can not only help
remove all possible viruses.
2). Use Strong Internet
Firewall
The commonly-used antivirus software always helps
find and remove the dangerous threats coming from your removable storage
devices, unsafe files, folders and downloads, etc. And the internet firewall
will help you block some virus attacks coming from the internet.
3). Use Safe or Familiar
Files, Applications, Storage Devices
You are also supposed to avoid using some unsafe or
unfamiliar files, applications, storage devices and computers in daily use. For
example, when trying to download some files or software, remember to choose a
safe or authorized site or location.
