Free hard drive recovery : how to recover data when I cannot access to partition?

Have you ever have the experience of the denied access of hard drive partition? When you double click a drive letter such as F disk, the computer shows that “Partition is not accessible/ Access is denied.” As many friends have the same problem, I have conclude several methods to solve this problem after have consult with the professional.

Let us to analyze  the main reasons result in the denying access to hard disk partitions.

1. The hard disk partition table is damaged so that the hard disk partition information can not be read correctly.

2. The user may have used some encryption software which lead to read access to the disk has been modified.

3. The computer got a virus.

As we have know the causes, then we can try to deal with this problem.

The first method :To make  a hard disk detection.

1.    First, click start menu→run→input” chkdsk G:/F”; or directly input “chkdsk G:/F”in the input field in start menu.

2.    Press “Enter” on keyboard, the computer will have a automatically repair. You will see a restoration interface like that:

3. After the restoration finished, this interface will automatically exit . Then you can check whether you can visit the partitions or not.

Note: Keep power on when in the restoration process of hard disk. The suddenly power loss may cause more serious data loss.

The second method: Change the access right of partition.

1.    Right click the partition of denied access, choose “Properties”, click “ Security”, and then “Edit”.

2.    Click “Add” in the ‘Security”  interface pops up, and then input “Everyone” in the box, click OK.

3. Then choose the user of  Everyone again on the access permission interface of hard disk. Click” permit” in “Everyone’s permission”.

4. Return to check if you can visit the partition now.

The third method: Use a antivirus software to run a full scan if your computer got virus. After the virus are killed, reboot your computer and double click the drive letter, you can access the partition.

The fourth method: Use a hard disk data recovery software.

1.    If you would like to restore the files in E disk, you should recover them to other partitions first.

2.    Format the partition which cannot access.

These are all the ways for us to solve the problem of denied access.
