It is said that there are more than 230 commands in Windows 7.
How to open CMD in Windows?
In Windows 10
Tap the Start button and then All apps.
Find the Windows System folder, then click it.
Click Command Prompt under the folder to open it.
Execute whatever commands you like
In Windows 8 or 8.1
1. Right-click on the Start button, and choose Command Prompt.
2. Run whatever command you needed.
In Windows 7
1. Press Windows key or click the start button
2. Type CMD in the search box and press Enter
3. Run whatever commands you like.
How to recover deleted files by virus or improper operations?
You can use cmd command to recover your deleted files from hard disk and external hard disk, sd card.
You can recover them using CMD by following these steps:
1. Click “start”, type ”cmd” in the search box.
2. click and open cmd.exe
3. Type attrib -h -r -s /s /d j:\*.* and press enter.(note: j is the flash drive)Or else, type j: and press ‘Enter’. (You will enter in to your flash drive. Now type the following attrib -h -r -s /s /d *.*
4. Then open your flash drive. You may find the shortcuts separated from the original data. Copy your data and save it to another location in your hard drive or desktop.
How to recover hidden files?
First, by using CMD command
Find and right-click the cmd.exe, choose to run as administrator.
Type F: in the opened window, and press Enter key
Type attrib -s -h -r /s /d  behind the F:\> and wait for a moment
Open your drive again to see if you can see the hidden files.
Use the Folder Options
1. Click the drive you need to open
2. Click Organize at the top right corner and choose Folder and Search Options
3. Click the View tab
4. Under the Hidden files and folders, check the show hidden files
5. Click Apply button and then click OK.
Other common commands
Diskpart : The diskpart command is used to create, manage, and delete hard drive partitions.
Chkdsk: The chkdsk command is used to check disk, is used to identify and correct hard drive errors.
Dir: The dir command is used to display a list of files and folders contained inside the folder that you are currently working in, and other important information like the hard drive's serial number, the total number of files listed, their combined size, the total amount of free space left on the drive, and more.
