What is recycle
bin?
When you delete some files, they are not
permanently deleted from your computer. They are moved to a place called
recycle bin.
The recycle bin
has limitations. The files are too large and files deleted
by “shift+del” will bypass the recycle bin. The files you deleted from U disk,
memory card and other removable devices will not enter into the computer’s
recycle bin. The recycle bin has a limited storage capacity. The files moved to
recycle bin will be automatically emptied once the space is filled so that the
new files can be moved to this space. The size of recycle bin are default, but
you can modify the space by right-click the properties of recycle bin.
Restore deleted files from recycle bin is
quiet easy. You just need to open the recycle bin and select some or all of the
files, right click and choose the restore button to recover your files.
How to show or
hide my recycle bin on my desktop in Windows?
In Windows 10, select the start button and
then select settings, click Personalization—themes—desktop icon settings, then
select the recycle bin check box and click apply.
In Windows 8.1, select search and input
desktop icons in the search box, click to choose show or hide icons on the
desktop.
In Windows 7, click start button and input
desktop icons in the search box, and then to choose hide or show the icons on
your desktop.

Right-click the recycle bin and choose
properties, you will see several options of recycle bin. Recycle bin locations
and setting for selected location: you can custom size of the recycle bin of
each partition.
You can also choose to turn on or off the
options: Don’t move files to the recycle bin. Remove files immediately when
deleted. You will permanently deleted your files if you enable this function.

Although you have emptied your recycle
bin, you still have great chance to recover your deleted files from recycle bin.
As we all know that data will always stored on the location as long as there
are no new data overwritten them.
Therefore, once you accidentally emptied
your recycle bin, you should stop operations on your computer and use the data
recovery software at the first time.
