At the time you open an corrupted workbook, the Microsoft Excel will automatically try to repair this workbook. If this doesn’t work , you can try to repair this workbook by yourself.

Open Excel and click file,in the upper-left corner, click open and then choose the location of your excel file. In the drop-down box of “Open”, choose Open and repair to repair your corrupted workbook.

Click File—options,and find the option of Save. In the Save Workbooks options, change number of the “save AutoRecover information every 10 minutes”. And choose the location to store your recovery files. Do not check the option of Disable AutoRecover for this workbook only.
