Most of phones now has a limited internal memory, so it’s common that your slow Android phone drives you crazy. In order to make your phone run smoothly, you should free up some space on phone’s internal memory.
How to speed up your mobile phone?
1. Disable unused app and uninstall the unnecessary apps
Your phone has limited internal memory. If it is filled with apps, caches, and all kinds of files, your phone then runs very slow. It is time to free up your phone when you find that it has become more and more slowly.
It’s necessary to close down the unused background processes. Some app run in background use up a lot of data so that it use too much memory of your phone. Please drag and remove all the widgets you don’t use on the screen. And you should also uninstall the apps you don't need. Some apps are placed by phone manufacture cannot be uninstalled. Others installed by yourself can be uninstalled if there is a need.
You can long-press an app to uninstall it, or tap Settings—Apps--All to find them and then tap the unused apps, tap uninstall on the App info screen. If you cannot uninstall an app, you can tap Disable or Force stop.
2. Delete the unused download files
You may have download many files in use, and these download files are still stored on here that use up the internal memory. You can find them in Storage—Download, then delete them or remove them to the external SD card.
3. Clear the Apps caches
The App caches are used to store app or website elements such so that they can be loaded quickly when you visit them next time. It provides a convenience access but at the same time it eat up your phone’s space so that to slow down your phone. Therefore, it’s necessary to clear up the cache regularly.
You can open the individual app to tap the clear cache button, or clear caches in the Settings.
Tap Settings—storage—cached data, tap OK.
Clear cache restore the apps to its default state—as you have just installed.
4. Install the apps on external SD card and transfer your files to l SD card or other devices
As the internal memory is limited, you should install apps and restore the download files on SD card.
